As a budding communications professional, I believe that creativity is an important tool that drives almost every industry. It influences my work and research interests and plays a key role in the strength of my work. As a result, I have always pursued creative interests and learned invaluable skills along the way. 

My research pursuits, both within the humanities and communications fields, are heavily nuanced and seek to find answers to pressing issues in society. Even in my creative projects, I make sure to ask questions along the way as I refine not just the content I am producing but the medium I am working with, with the hopes of changing it for the better.

Additionally, it is very important to me to promote and advocate for positive and equitable representation of historically oppressed groups in the media and foster culturally sensitive spaces for communication and education.
